This coin is of great value since the practice of using silver to make coins was stopped in th eyear 1964. Today, we can find only a few under this category, but experts state that there are infact so many in circulation. There is a way you can tell whether the 1965 dime is made from silver or the newer copper and nickel mixture. Just look at the edge of the coin. While the rare coin’s edges will be silver, the common coin will carry brown stripe around it.

　　Interestingly, the 2001 New York quarter's run might carry a few misprints. For instance, some coins of this kind were stamped two times when they were made in Philadelphia. These coins can be worth anything between $400 and $3,000. One way to identify these coins is that they will carry an additional off-center image both in the front and the back sides, which will make it easy to idenitfy them.
